Song Descriptions

Uber-Time - Album intro that has wierd guitar sounds and JD saying the word over and over till Oildale starts.

Oildale (Leave Me Alone) - First song from album to be played live. Oildale (Leave Me Alone) buzzes with an eerie clean guitar that slowly gives way to a steamrolling bass and riff assault.

Are You Ready To Live - First song to be released. It was posted on the Mayhem fevtival Youtube channel under the name My Time. It was then taken down by Korn's managment.

Move On - Move On morphs from a myriad of creaking tones into an explosive vocal freak-out that's impossible not to connect with it on a visceral level.

Fear Is A Place To Live - Then there's the neck-snapping "Fear Is A Place to Live" tempering deadly guitar dissonance with an unforgettable chorus.

The Past - About The Past, the singer says, A lot of people dwell on the past, and they feel guilt. There's nothing you can do about the past because it's gone and it's blown up. We're here now.

Never Around - Davis dug deep for cuts like The Past and Never Around.

In an interview with Revolver Magazine Fieldy talked about making sure the new album represents the integrity that you hear on the first record except for one song that is faster, heavy and different from the rest. He described the new album as funky, heavy and melodic.

Also Jonathan said the band spent a month tracking the best 15 songs at Korn's studio and did everything on tape. He also explained that they didn't stack four or five vocal parts like they usually do and just singing one part for every song.

During an interview Munky says that Korn is shooting for a February release. And are considering releasing the album three songs at a time in three months time as well as putting the new album on a USB drive.

In an interview with AOL, Jonathan describes the new album as being very old school like the first two albums. He also says that his lyrics wont be about five symbols anymore. Jonathan says they have 13 or 14 songs and that the guys are taking turns doing bass and guitars. He added that the drums are all recorded and that this will be thier most diverse record.
