Rules to Kornspace
No personal attacks. Everyone is entitled to their own opinion but name-calling or attacking others' opinions will not be permitted. Trolling comments can be randomly deleted.
No slanderous remarks will be made against the Kornspace staff or any of the work they do here. No one is paid - we volunteer our time to make KS a better place.
Spamming isn't allowed either. Post your comment once and be done with it.
NO LINKING TO COPYRIGHTED MATERIAL. It's self-explanatory.
Do not upload pornography or links to pornography anywhere on this site.
Any noob with under 10 comments bitching will have there bitch rants deleted without warning.
Persistent douchiness will result in deleted comments and possible ban at an administrator's discretion.
TORRENTS
There is a 36 hour delay on new accounts on Kornspace.com until they can access the torrents page for noobs. If you are new to Kornspace and it says you have no rights to download. Logout of Kornspace, delete your cookies from your temp internet files and log back in that usually makes your account.
After you have successfully uploaded a new torrent, please stick around as much as possible to seed it until multiple people have completed it.
If you have screwed up a torrent when creating it and want it deleted, please pm either Red UFO or kf02 in order to remove it.
Allowed Content:
- All kinds of audience video and audio rips are allowed, both lossy and lossless. It doesn't matter if you ripped it or someone else ripped it.
- All full-resolution audience DVDs are allowed.
- Copyrighted content or any part of copyrighted content is NOT allowed. This includes official merchandise as well as TV-sourced video.
- Audio ripped from TV video is allowed.
- DVDs created from compressed video rips such as SVCD, VCD, WMV, etc are NOT allowed. This is known as "bloating."
- Lossless audio (FLAC, SHN) created from lossy audio formats such as MP3, WMA are NOT allowed. This is also bloating.
Levels
0 - UnAuth (must have KS account, can view/upload torrents but not download them).
1 - User (must have KS account, basic user, can upload/download torrents)
2 - PUser (must have KS account, advanced user, can download torrents and special items) Must have 1.0 share ratio and over 1 gig uploaded have level up to PUser
3 - Uploader (must have KS account, power user, can download all torrents must have upload of 150 gig level uploaded to achieve Uploader)
4 - Vip (must have KS account, VIP user, can download all torrents) To achieve VIP level you must submit photos or videos of Korn that you have taken.
5 - Owner - Kornspace Admin
Download ratios:
When your download reaches 13 gig, your share ratio must be .4 or your torrent account will be banned until you share more. This will be checked all the time, so don't let your account dip below .4 after you acquire over 13 gig.
If your torrent account was banned just share your last few torrents and raise your share ratio. The system will update your ratios all the time and unban our account automatically when the ratio is up to the required rules.
What if you deleted those torrents?
You'll have to upload your way out of it. You can upload a torrent and that will raise your upload stats back into good standing.
If you torrent account was banned and you sign up for another Kornspace account to try and get past the system. All of your Kornspace accounts, email addresses and entire IP range will be blocked so play nice and be cool.
Tips
Once the transfer is complete, leave your Torrent client software running for at least two hours. This is called "seeding" or "good karma", where you share your complete files to other users.
Suggestion: do your downloads just before you go to sleep at night. This way, you will seed your complete files, you will increase your upload/download ratio, and you will have complete downloaded files by the time you wake up!

2. Select the files and or directories
3. And again, This is probably the hard part for most people. But it's pretty easy, just put in the tracker url.

4. Do NOT tick the private torrent box (unless you're using a private tracker)
5. Now you can start seeding your files

1. File > Create Torrent (or CTRL + M)
2. Select the files and or directories
3. Select "enable public DHT network" from the dropdown box
This way you can be your own tracker if the public tracker goes down.

Kornspace Goldsystem
Every new Kornspace user gets 21,000 pieces of gold when they sign up.
Getting Gold:
You add gold when you use the following
Chatbox: 50 gold
Comments: 100 gold
News Submission: 1000 gold
New Arcade Score: 250 gold
Beat previous Arcade Score: 40 gold
You lose gold when you:
Download Files from the server Cost: -500 gold
If you try to bypass the system by direct links to downloads or if you hotlink to download from another website. Your account will be penalized ATLEAST 21,000 pieces of gold per occurance. If it happens often your IP will be banned and account frozen.
So every new member has enuff gold to download 42 files from us for free before they have to do anything.
