Just a quick post here. The Noeke site has once again updated their events section. The South American tour is still listed but there is no link to see dates anymore for some reason. A new tour has been added, just before the Mayhem Festival, with no dates yet called the Ballroom Blitz Tour in the US. Ballroom Blitz is a song covered by alot of artists (I mainly remember Casandra's band in Wayne's World). And I'm assuming it means a bunch of ballrooms and more small venues. So be on the look out for that.

All 2010 Tour Dates

Korn have confirmed a Chilean date for their 2010 tour. Korn will be playing at the Teatro Caupolicán on April, 17. Tickets will be on sale this Sunday.

Also according to Korn Brazil Korn will be playing in Sao Paulo, Credicard Hall, on April 21, 2010.

The advance ticket sales for Credicard customers start on 2nd and runs until March 8.

2010 Tour Dates

KORN bassist Reginald "Fieldy" Arvizu is putting the finishing touches on a new solo album, "Bassically", which he hopes to release later this year. He tells AOL's Noisecreep, "I'd say it's like a jazz fusion funk type of thing. Real new age, too. Different kinds of music.

He adds, "I've always wanted to do it. When I was younger, learning bass, I listened to a lot of bass albums; Stanley Clarke, I grew up listening to that type of stuff."

"I don't want people to be confused and buy it and not like it. It's not heavy," he emphasizes. "I don't want people to get it and think, 'Man, I can't believe I bought this crap'. It's not meant to be heavy. If you like heavy and are not open-minded, you will not like this."

For the upcoming CD, Fieldy multi-tracked lead and rhythm parts using a 15-string bass, stand-up bass and fretless bass.

"It's insane, man. I did so many lead tracks and rhythm tracks," he tells Noisecreep. "Sometimes, it's chaotic. It kinda takes you on a ride through the CD, so you can have a mellow funk track next to a chaotic bunch of basses going crazy. Right now, I have 11 songs finished. I might do two more, but it's pretty much done."

The Rockstar Mayhem Festival website has announced a show for North Carolina. The following show has been added to the 2010 Mayhem festival tour:

08.03.10 - Time Warner Cable Music Pavilion at Walnut Creek, Raleigh, NC

There is no information on when tickets become available for this Mayhem show but it's very likely that the pre-sale will be available on April 2nd and April 16th for the general public - like the other Mayhem shows.
