GUNS N' Roses are coming to Perth - with temperamental frontman Axl Rose, but without legendary lead guitarist Slash.
The Gunners - featuring the current lineup of Axl Rose, Tommy Stinson on bass, Dizzy Reed on keys, Bumblefoot on guitar, Chris Pitman on keys and bass, DJ Ashba on guitar, Richard Fortus on rhythm guitar and Frank Ferrer on drums - will hit Perth for a show on December 11 at Kwinana Motorplex.

Joining Guns N Roses will be Grammy Award-winning metal band KoRn.

Promoter Andrew McManus said: "This is a very exciting tour for us. I saw Guns N’ Roses perform in Helsinki a few months ago and I’ve never seen a bigger crowd.

"It was a wild concert with over 60,000 fans going freakin’ berserk! They were really well behaved and were there purely to give the band as much energy back as the band gave them, which believe me, was a tonne full.

"I got goose bumps hearing the crowd leave the venue all as one, singing Sweet Child of Mine. It was like they had an unspoken family bond between each other. Quite amazing."

Tickets go on sale next Tuesday, September 7, through Ticketmaster.com.au and can also be purchased from Mills Records in Fremantle.

This is an 18+ event with one general admission price of $139+ b/f. Doors open at 5pm, concert starts at 6pm.

Ok to aid in the new setlist debate and to help us(and Korn) decide what songs are overplayed/underplayed, I have spent the last hour putting together a very rough guide of the years that all the album tracks have been played live. I have tried to show when songs were played rarely that year or if they were part of a medley but overall the guide shows what songs would be deemed as rare or neglected.

A few points to note:

• I decided to forgot the apollo show so the stats for 'Issues' are excluding that show.
• 
  Also I haven't taken into account 2001 in my stats.
• 
  I haven't included any B-sides as there is little to no hope of most of them being played live ever/again.

There will be errors and mistakes so please correct me in the comments. Thanks

Clint Lowery (Sevendust) has clarified his recent comments on Twitter regarding Korn. He said:

“here’s the deal, I was joking around about Korn not letting guitar players play on stage. A joke. Lighten up. I love Korn. So much drama”

He later stated:

“Some People want so badly to see conflict and drama. It’s baffling to me.”

Lost in all the Clint Lowery comments was Shane Gibson's official statement on parting ways with Korn and his relationship with the band right now. It was nice of him to come on Kornspace and say something to all the Korn fans.

On behalf of Kornspace we would like to wish Shane Gibson the best of luck with all his future projects.

Shane Gibson's Statement:

"Statement time

Their is ABSOLUTELY no drama or bad blood between the band KoRn and myself.
KoRn gave me the opportunity to travel around the world and do what i want for a living.... Play guitar. At the same time, I had time to work on my other projects.
I've played for them as the backing guitarist for almost 3 years, and feel the most logical step is moving on.
Wes is a super nice guy, and i'm sure he is killer.... i wish him the best as well.
The KoRn guys, crew, and camp have been nothing but the best to me. Never been any drama, hateful words, backstabbing, anything. I truly wish them all the best, and we are all on great terms.
I've had the privilege to play with one of the most revolutionary metal bands in the world, and it has been truly my honor.
That being said... time to move on, do my own thing (mainly now being Schwarzenator and stOrk).

As far as Clint's statement, take it however you want. When i met him back in Europe last year, he was one of the sweetest guys i've ever met. I do not think he's trying to start any controversy.

And as for you KoRn fans..... you are why KoRn exists. they would not be here if not for you. I've never experienced such loyal fans in my life. Thank you for everything, those of you who supported me, and those of you who hated me I've met some of the sweetest people while on tour... from America, South America, Asia, South Africa, Europe, Freakin everywhere! Thank you all, and i will never forget it.

I only tried to make KoRn sound like KoRn, and busted my ass at it.
took me a while, but i feel i did pretty ok.
